    Custom iPod Speaker!

    Hey Everybody,

Thought I would show everybody my custom iPod speaker. I am probably not the first person to come up with this idea, but I thought I would at least show everybody my work. At the end of the three images I did a quick little video of it;).

Video of it in action: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoID=31451238.

Tell me if you have any comments.
    Thanks,
    Brandon Long

Not sure if the video itself was flat sounding or the speaker was, but that's cool. It's pretty much just something where you make a jack and put a speaker at the end of it.

And what you did there isn't hard i've built a custom amp + speaker box before but it sounded like crap.

Well that's my Cell Phone for ya, this thing sounds amazing in person. I got a 4 Watt speaker wired to it in mono w/ Bass Boost enabled on the iPod. Even as high as it can go, it creates crisp, clean audio with a bass thump and everything.

For 3 minutes of work, I am not going to complain with the results.

    Re: Custom iPod Speaker!

word of caution: you can overload the amp in the ipod and make the sound non working. I had a skeaker just like that pluged into my computer and i fried the amp for that output.
