Post here good world war two movies. I would like to know some good world war two movies. If it is possible with some information (or a link to this information).

I know one and that is Der Untergang aka Downfall. (it is about the last 10 days in the bunker in Berlin.)

There are so many old war films I've seen it's hard to name them.

The Great Escape is a classic, as is Platoon.

EDIT: Oh sorry... Platoon is about 'nam, but the Great Escape is WWII I believe...

Patton, The Great Escape, Where Eagles Dare, Letters from Iwo Jima, Midway, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Desert Fox, The Dirty Dozen, The Guns of Navarone, Saving Private Ryan, Kelly's Heroes, and Das Boot (just to name a few). These are all great movies!
