Question Remove .html from end of domain?

    Hi.

    Just a quick question.

I am currently in the process of testing my website.

Basically, I want to know how to remove the ".html" from the end of the domain name.

    For example:

    www.templatefactory.x10hosting.com/tutorials/

    as opposed to

    www.templatefactory.x10hosting.com/tutorials.html

I imagine there is a simple solution, but can not figure it out.

The only thing I have thought possible, is creating a new folder, called "tutorials", and putting all the tutorial pages in there - Probably doesn't work, I know.

I am fairly new to this as you have probably guessed .

    Thanks for the help.

    ~ Jordan.

Reason:- Tutorial section is for posting some useful tutorials.

As you said put a folder as tutorials, create a index page. put the links to all the tutorial pages in the tutorial directory in the index page.

    Sorry Sunils.

I wasn't sure where to put the thread.

    Ah, ok, thank-you.

    I think I understand.

    I will try that.

    Thanks again.

Each directory should have its index.html or index.xyz page.

    Hi Jkirby92,

create a folder as tutorials, create a index page. put the links to all the tutorial pages in the tutorial directory in the index page will ofcourse work.

but i will suggest you to use the URL rewrite technique.
