Well, how many people do you guys think are going to get the 3G iPhone? And did anyone here what Canadian Provider Roger's wanted to do with the data rates for the iPhone on launch at first? They got Apple mad :P
My signature likes cookies! Do you? :D
In the United States, AT&T effectively raised the data and texting plan rates for the iPhone 3G, negating the price decrease of the iPhone and actually making it more expensive over the long term.
No thanks, I'll stick to my old fashioned phone that can only send and receive phone calls (okay, it can send/receive text and browse the internet too, but the former was disabled by AT&T by my request and the latter I intentionally crippled that feature on my phone)
Either way, it's still an iPhone. And not that stylish either. Prefer my old Samsung E900! Solid unit with a decent battery life. And PROPER BUTTONS!!! (Mostly...)
The physics is theoretical but the fun is real.
I'm still mad at Apple for them keep on charging "early iPod Touch adopters".
They are going to make us pay up again to get the upgrade tomorrow.![]()
I'm avoiding this for many reasons. I'll list a few of them below for your entertainment:
I might seem rude or maybe even jealous, but I assure you: I don't like the iPhone at all. It's another example of Apple selling the same products as everyone else with a new name and different layout. It's got less features than other smart phones on the market and is more expensive; it doesn't add up.
- The iPhone is absolutely freaking huge when compared to other phones. It doesn't fit in the average pocket!?!
- It looks hideous. I don't know whether I'm the only one who thinks this, but they seem to look ugly. I don't like the silver outer bit around the sides, looks tatty.
- It has mediocre functionality. Name one thing the iPhone can do that's actually useful that other phones can't. See my point?
- Ridiculous layout. The menus don't seem as logically organised as my good old Sony Ericsson K800i, and the home screen or whatever they call it now just seems like a jumbled-up mess.
- 3rd party applications...let's not even go there. I find Apple's idea of 'programmability' a little on the weird side.
- And many more, which I'll post on my blog at some point in the near future...when I get time.
-Luke.
