Professionalism (if thats a word)

Hello everybody. Is it professional to have your website template, not a open source template, but a template that you got off a tutorial. Because on this site, you have to do the tutorial, you have to buy the psd. so would that count as your own template because you had to work hard to make it! Just wondering!

Everyone has their own level of skill when designing a template. If you are the one making the psd, even while using a template/tutorial, it is still your artwork and design. I would say your site can look professional with a template as long as you put some unique parts in it as well.

Unless of course you change the code so significantly that it doesn't even look like the original code ;]
