Milk and Egg. Veg or Non-veg?

We all know that milk is veg.
But i am well confused.Milk is a fluid which comes from an animal(say cow, goat).Still we consider milk as veg.

If that is the case can we consider egg as a veg?

    i know this is a foolish question,but i am well confused ;)

Milk and eggs are not part of the vegan diet. Vegan is a very strict vegetarian diet.

I consider myself a vegetarian and at home I am vegan (no milk or eggs or dairy products). However, when I do go to a restaurant I will eat milk and eggs.

According to my friend "trv231" egg can produce hen or milk cannot produce another calf hence it is vegetarian.

The eggs your friend buys in the store are not fertilized. Hence they will produce nothing.

But w/e. Vegan means no dairy or eggs.

My understanding of vegan is that you don't eat meat or any by-products of an animal such as eggs or milk, which were already mentioned. Also something that a vegan does not do is wear or use things made from animals such as a leather coat or a leather belt.
