I have to say smf. Have you guys tried out the new beta from smf ? this software is going places, believe me. smf 1.0.5 is what I am running but I also run smf 1.1 beta 3 its very nice.

Yea then but PHPBB does not have file uploading, Advanced Permission Masks etc.

But thats what the mods are for :hsdance:. You can't say they're hard to install either. I got these mods on my phpbb, most of them installled with ease using EasyMod and the others that don't like working with it done by hand.

Bla! I can't seem to put the ads on SMF. There is Tutorial and it says to go to a line in the file but that line is not there. I like SMF to but its very hard to administrate. The problem is that the there are member groups and each one has 40-50 options to be made thats like 400 options. I could use it but I can seem to put the ads. But then again IPB 1.3.1 is very easy and yet powerful.

Why is vBulletin not here? It easily owns the others.

Easily.

Despite all of the hassle in installing hacks and other random stuff, vBulletin is better.

i have voted for PHPBB. i have also SMF but it was for 10 minutes.. when smf 1.1 is out i will probably use it.

i just use the free trial of ipb 2.0 ^^
(before it had limmitations)
