LAW OF ENCOUNTERS: The probability of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you don't want to be seen with.

I received this in my mail long time back and kept it as a collection. Today when i just went through it, i thought of posting it here and hence i posted it here.

They're all so true. There's also the other one about telephone queueing, which is that as soon as you put the phone down, an operator will become available.

Actually, hammers don't roll in my experience. Nor wrenches. But definitely screwdrivers, so this is only partially right.

The rest are pretty good, minor exceptions exist I'm sure

All of this stuff is just coincidences that you would only notice if it's happed to you. For example how many time have you not gotten a phone call when taking a shower?
