Do cookies from this site expire?

Just curious, I've noticed that most times when I come to this site I'm logged in automatically, but every once in a while I have to enter my login info. I always use the same browser (Google Chrome) to access the site, and haven't deleted any cookies. Anybody else have this issue?

Yes, I always check the "Remember me" box... :-)

I'm always logged in on here unless I delete my cookies.

What I have noticed is that on another site that uses Vbulletin if I go through their actual site then click the link to the forum I am logged in however if I go directly to the forum I am not logged in but if I click on a link and go back to the forum index it logs me in as it would do - it's a wierd one.
