For sure, but think about how many people will be talking about it though... Very smart marketing if you think about the end product of their scheme.
I wouldn't have mentioned Windows 7 to any of my co-workers or friends if I wasn't hosting a party... I've prolly bragged to about 20 people in the past 2 days that I'm getting a free copy...Makes them sort of want one too right?
I don't think the number of copies they are sending out for free is going to effect their revenue too much :D (Think of how many of those people weren't going to purchase a copy anyhow...)
Here is my old computer running windows 7 beta build 7100, works fine so far.

I had to send a copy of the Windows 7 ISO to one of my IM friends last night as though he had gotten a key from Microsoft, he had forgotten to download the ISO (didn't have the time). But otherwise, Windows 7 will be here in no time now![]()
My signature likes cookies! Do you? :D
I grabbed them and I left them.
They aren't compatible with my antivirus software, and not even with microsoft's visual studio.
Back to Linux/Vista for me.
The party packs have started to arrive...

What antivirus were you running? I am running Avast Home, Comodo Firewall, and Malwarebytes on demand and they all work perfectly! Plus, Windows 7 is snappier and works much more efficiently than Vista, and I get things done easier too.Man do I love jumplists and the new taskbar!
I'm running the RTM bersion of Window 7 from TechNet:coolugh:
