You may apply for Creative Common licence http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/uk/
If someone copies your content you can find it from http://copyscape.com/
you could disable right clicking and that will stop the copy and paste simple way they could still use the shortcuts but most people when they copy it put down where they recived it from but if you see your work anywhere e-mail the webmaster of the site and tell them that there breaking copyright thefted
Copyrighting don't exactly stop people from claiming it as their own...
Some people just never learn lol
I've seen numerous amounts of people just taking stuff and saying 'It's theirs'.
if you are interested in creativecommons, you can use this little thing to choose the proper license for your work: http://creativecommons.org/license/.
by using javascript to detect the right click, but it's a bad practice in web design.
Then...I am not sure, but I thought that as long as your site is hosted in the USA what you put on your site is automatically copyrighted and thus belongs to the one who owns the site/s with the information....?
Edit:
K i got it, thankyou....if it's bad practice for whichever reason I will try to refrain from such scripts...

it's possible, there are quite a few sites who try that. I forget the code for it, but it's done in javascript, so someone just disables javascript in their browser then they refresh the page, and they can copy everything they want... So, it's only effective against those who know nothing about the browser tools.
In short, trying to use any forms of 'force' to prevent copying won't really work. Those who are determined to do it, will find a way around.
The only effective stop is legal action. This includes creativecommons and copyscape.
