i don't know if this topic is valid, but yeah it can be treated as discussion. In india, it is banned as well. and of couse sex sells, that's the reason the stars are so rich and get celebrity status. who would ignore a rich person?

Banning pornography to me is right up there with banning books, video games, music, etc...

If I were a Indian citizen I would be outraged at my government and the archaic nature in which they handle things.

An individual should have the choice to watch or not watch pornography not the government. The government should never be that intertwined into your every day lives.

as i mod i am going to keep a close eye on this topic if i get any complaints i will remove it so please try and keep it clean and stick by the rules

i live in the uk and its not banned and me personally do not use it i am happy in a relationship and do not need this type of stuff but it is all about personal choice if you should or should not want to watch it not the goverments.

Who told it is banned in India??? Just had a try and seems to be loading fine for me ;) (kidding)
But cops in India are gonna trace the porn site surfers and if they found you are guilty you will be arrested.Though i have read it in newspapers I am not well sure about this new law.

I must agree...a person should be allowed to watch what they want, once they are old enough....and yes it might be right up there with banning books, video games, music etc.....

I could only imagine what sex education is like in school or if they even have that since that topic is basically banned. No wonder there are so many people in some parts of the world...they don't know what to do or *use to be safe and such.

Reading the below post....I am married, and yes it is true it is over rated, I tend to just create my own spice* in life that would also answer why some countries have these laws...to make the population grow, by having them create their own spice* in life.

Much like anything else, too much of something is never a good thing and porn is no different. That said being addicted to pornography is nothing compared to say being addicted to drugs or alcohol.
