Iran Seeks Diplomatic Talks with United States

I saw this article in the newspaper this morning, stating that the Iranian leader is willing to have talks with the United States.


What are you thoughts on this? What do you think we will accomplish out of this?

They should talk. When the leaders of countries don't talk, it's always us -- the people they're supposed to be leading -- who wind up paying the price (getting blown up, coming back from some foriegn war missing our legs, etc. etc. etc.)

The leaders didnt talk after the shah regime was toppled and look what ended up happening.

I think that both countries should trust each other. Iran has never in a few hundred years started a war on anybody, so i dont understand why evreybody is accusing them of wanting to start a war.
