Providing Free Hosting

I was always curious, but is it possible for my site to offer free web hosting? and would it cost me money, or what?

I've noticed alot of sites get alot of traffic coming in just for offering a web hosting service.

You would definitely not be able to use x10's free service to host your own free hosting site.
However, you could use either your own server, a dedicated server, or even a Virtual Private Server which x10 has just offered.

Yes you would need either paid hosting or better still a VPS.

The first lines of the ToS state that you cannot use your account to give free hosting services away.
