Help installing 3rd party script

Ok guys, Ive spent about an hour searching and I cant find tutorials anywhere for how to install a script and its beginning to really annoy me.

I have a script that will submit your URL to 140 different search engines, and I would like to install it to my site.

I have uploaded the files in a folder under;

home/public_html/modules

Im not sure if this is the right place, I thaught it would of seeing galleries and other addons are but it wont show up, Im not sure how to add it to my site and If I could get any help I would be very thankful.

Uploading and unpackaging your script is only part of the process of using it. You now need to integrate the contents of the script with your pages. The procedure for doing so is different for every script.

Could you give us the name of the script, or if it's short, the contents of the script, so we can take a look at how it can be utilized?
