Your problem is that you have a redirect somewhere in you index page that redirects to the same, page and it would create a loop and just keep reloading, so it gives you a error, another example is if you redirect to a different page and that page redirects you back to index so it wont ever stop.

Your Index page has some loop .. it redirects and redirects...
This is what firfox says
"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."
It seems you are shuffling between / and /index.php by the script
