    HELP ADD ON Domain Problem

    Hello,

My friend has a multiple account from hostgator. when he added www.kirstynsierraonline.com it was succesfull. But the thing is we can't go live. But if you type http://babymakingtips.com/kirstynsierraonline.com/ it works even the temporary index can be seen.

We tried deleting the addon domain and add it again, but still the same error. we tried adding new domain still it encounters the same problem.

HELP we don't know what's wrong, but all of the existing addon domain he created before are all working fine.

    Thank you in advance.

    Try checking your DNS settings.

Re: HELP ADD ON Domain Problem

The nameserver's are set up correctly (see http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois/...aonline.com%2F), so that part of DNS is correct. It seems the problem is at the hostgator end, seemingly the webserver with the content isn't set up correctly: the nameservers are pointing to 67.18.96.45 , but pinging the domain, or direct pinging of that IP receives no answer, suggesting it's a local server problem, or possibly that the hostgator nameservers are pointing to the wrong place.

Update: that folder you linked to with the temporary page is on a completely different server, with IP 174.120.119.60 , so it seems that it is the hostgator nameservers that are pointing to the wrong place.

So the best solution is to contact hostgator then? There is no other solution aside from contacting them?

    Thanks guys.
