    Re: Httpdocs?

    I'm not too sure about HTTPDOCS ... but if you meant you want to have ssl ... you can do it if you have ssl certification. If the certificate is installed properly, you should be able to access your website by adding https. However notmally http will still work. So all the file still in public_html folder. So it's not like creating 2 different files to store in different folders. I don't think it works like that. it's just there is a way to set whether the file can be access using ssl or not.

    It's important for you to understand the different between ssl and normal http .. which ssl help to encrypt your connection in server ... so any important data cannot be simply hacked as it's not transparent.

    If you mean html document, simple select File -> New -> Document and select the html page.

    English please? :D joking

    HTTPDOCS = Public_html folder.
    I think that's what you're trying to ask.

    Re: Httpdocs?

    Hmm, i hope you are not getting it.
    HTTPDOCS is used in root directory to make all traffic re-direct practically back to the website in a correct manner.
    Plzz 302 redirect & SSL certs has got nothing to do with this.

    All i know is after you write this doc you will save it in [.httpdoc] format only:happysad:

    Re: Httpdocs?

    Are you referring to .htaccess and the RewriteEngine?

    As per my sig, read the links in my previous post for Apache. For info on accessing .htacces in Parallels Plesk Panel, check Parallels's documentation or your host's support articles.
