FTP -annoying problem

Can anybody help - maybe I am doing something wrong but-
I created an FTP account, put all my details into Dreamweaver mx- tested server ---its working.

Now when I upload files from Dreamweaver to server it shows in the logs they have all uploaded successfully ! But I cant see them in the file manager of x10hosting account panel! It worked last week aswell and I havnt changed ay settings,

Starka is one of the servers about to be migrated as announced in http://forums.x10hosting.com/news-an...test-news.html.

During this it may be that your account in reality exist on two servers, one of which you see through ftp (dreamweaver) while you might see the other one through cPanel (depending on what addresses you use to connect to them)

It is always wise to do as little work with the sites as possible during major changes/upgrades.

Well that explains it!!! Thankyou. Things is what should I do - just waiy or change account?

sorry, I meant shall I just wait till maintenance is over or will i have permanent problems?

Wait until maintenance is over, everything should smooth out then and be back to normal.

Depending on which server your files actually were uploaded to, you may need to upload them again once all is done.
