How to announce server is down ?

Hello

My web site is on the Chopin server, that is actually out of service, as you know.
So, that's a question for the future :

Is it possible (and how to do it) to give a "personnal message" when such a situation occurs such as "The site is temporary closed for work" in place of the actual screen "X10hosting / free hosting for the masses / Domain Available! - Register Now!... etc" ?

I'm sorry but I don't think that is possible as the server can not point your domain elsewhere until your account is actually back on that server.
