Internet Explorer animation slide problem

Hi,
I have a problem with Jquery animation that I used for my menu. It works perfect in other browsers but not in IE 8. How to fix the bug ?

What exactly is the problem. It works just fine for me. Only thing is that men shadow is over the drop-down menu and that could be easily corrected with z-index.

When I check it on my computer the animation is just slow, gets the impresion that is heavy or whatever. Doesnt animate so smooth as in other browsers.

What can I tell you, IE is rubbish. No seriously, It's just slow.

Why do you thing Google Chrome and Opera are fighting with everything they got just to be the "fastest browser on the market"?
