    No images

Hi I have uploaded my files into two different folders called images and files.

The images for my web site are in images and my html pages are in files.

I have uploaded all the images and I can not see my images.

I have attached what I can see when I try to upload my web site.

Thanks for your time on helping me.

Ps sorry I can not upload what I can see the forum does not allow me to upload images from my computer.

If someone needs to see the picture can you email me at awalker762@hotmail.co.uk so I can send it to you thanks.

What do you mean you can't "see" them? Do you mean they show up as a broken red X on your html pages? In that case, you most likely made either a typo or linked to them wrong.

    Re: No images

If you gave us a link to a page it would help.

But, if you are not on Windows, Images and images are two different directories. *nix is case sensitive.

Hi sorry for the late reply,

I can see a red cross with no image.

    How do I link them?

I used Microsoft Publisher to create my web site thanks for your help.

    Re: No images

Your home page is index.htm and is located in public_html , right?

When I go there, the images sources are like index_files/image328.gif , which means that the images should be in a directory named public_html/index_files. But they are not there. I do find them in public_html .

You would either have to create the directory and move the image files OR change all the source tags for the images and drop the 'index_files/'

Sorry, I have no knowledge of MS Publisher and how to make the adjustments through that software.
