Question Creating a Tutorial Site ???

Hi there, i am wanting to setup a site that people can goto for tutorials on selected subjects,

but i have a problem.. I dont know how i how i would go about dont this..

for example i dont know what software would be most suited for the job and if i was possible to customise that software to suit the template i need... Also if it was possible to set different options ect..

If you know of such software or CMS ect, Please tell me about it. I would be very grateful.

Also i would like it to have features like the following sites:

What subjects are the tutorials going to cover? Who is going to write the tutorials?

Most CMSs could be made to work. What are your exact requirements?

Hi, the site will be about animation similar to the links I posted. The tutorials would be posted by myself and there would need to be a a section where the users could submit their tutorials.

    Thanks

So you want a tutorial on how to set up a tutorial website?

    Hmmmm.

I would recommend wordpress - I'm using it for my site.

I can customise your phpBB board. Send me a PM.

Hi, thanks for the replys. But i dont really want to use something like wordpress.

I want it to be more independent, like the sites i mentioned.

    Thanks

You can also use CMS Made Simple or something like the Moodle learning system.

Many tutorial sites use WordPress now days. Sites you mentioned are probably custom made and that is the only way you can be sure to get exactly what you need.
