CSS3 shadows for a navigation menu...

Is their such a way that you can make an inner and drop shadow with CSS3? I have a menu that when an anchor is selected (i.e. the "home" link) or active i need to change the font color from #cfcdd1 to #65a4d9 and place a 5px radius box around the anchor and have an inner and drop shadow with a distance of 1px with a size of 1px. [That is all photoshop lingo for those who are confused]. the image below shows a better description of what i'm looking for.



if it's not possible then what other way besides sprites could i make this happen?
