I want to connect to mysql but it keeps saying it is access denied!

i have made a database from the cpanel but it still won't let me connect.

do i put the following details:

the database host: localhost or mysql.x10hosting.com
    the database name: flameup(myusername)_Login1(databasename)
the username: (would i put the prefix before the username or do i just put the username is it case sensitive)
    the password:*********(just the password)

please help i need mysql for most of the scripts on my server!
(although i try to find one that don't need mysql)

    Start with X10 MySQL information.

    Re: Mysql Error

Set it up like below and it should work for you:

Note that your cpanel user name wont be cap locked they lowercase everything when you sign up I believe, but if it is cap locked then yes it probably would be case sensitive, your password and database info you will need to be on point about cap locks, cause yes it will not connect unless you have it correct

    database host: "localhost"
database name: "your cpanel username_database name" (example "khaos_forum")
user: "your cpanel username_database username" (example "khaos_user1")
    password: "your password"

If this helps please give me some reputation thanks.
