What happens if?

I have a x10 hosting account.

I was wondering if I change my domain name, for example domainname.x10.mx to domainname.com

Will I still be able to access the server and files for my site?
I'm sure I will have to change my FTP.
But what else am I not thinking about?

Yes, you'll be able to access everything through the new domain instead. However, I would highly recommend that instead of changing your main domain, you add domainname.com to your account as a parked domain through your cPanel. By doing this, you have both your new domain, and your original x10 domain to fall back on if something goes wrong with your new domain (I.e. your registrar going out of business, or having a bad configuration setup that completely breaks the domain)
