Cannot find .htaccess

I am unable to find the .htaccess file in my Lotus cPanel. I tried searching for it but when i clicked on the result it came to a my public_html directory but .htaccess was not there.

I am unable to find the .htaccess file in my Lotus cPanel. I tried searching for it but when i clicked on the result it came to a my public_html directory but .htaccess was not there.

The .htaccess file is hidden file. While opening the filemanager in CPanel. You have to tick the mark "Show hidden folders and files."
