Help with phpBB3 Forum Installation

I've been trying to install it now for 2 hours... I've searched the forums but i cant find a striaght answer, just lots of answers giving different - and wrong - answers.

Bascially, im stuck on the installation.

I got past the Denied error by changing my hostname to mysql.x10hosting.com (Great what you find when you use the search)

But now i have another error:

Could not connect to the database, see error message below.
Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysql.x10hosting.com' (110)

I have created the database, and the details are correct.
Im on the stoli server, and have an Ad-Enhanced Advanced package.

you need to use localhost.

Q: Will this move everything back to localhost?
A: Yes, all config files and such will have to be changed back to localhost

ziddy i can see that you have installed phpBB3 in just 2 hours! ive been trying now for over 12 hours do i put the phpBB3 folder inside of the root of my server, the public_html of my server, or do i put it in my sql? And if the answer is my SQL how do i put it there as i dont know how to add anything to my sql

You put it in public_html.

I have done that, and after i did that i gave the permissions then i typed the designation into he URL: /install/index.php that didnt work so i tried /install/ it just showed nothing. A blank white screen in my browser.
