    Why won't my Video Play on my Webpage

    :happysad: Hello 2 queries
    can anyone shed some light on why my MP4 video wont play on my webpage. It worked locally but just comes up with a question mark when i view it on my x10 site

    (the video file is 30mb)

    ALSo my second question was how can i compress it without reshooting

    uhh... i think its just a picture, nothing works ...

    It is a MP4 movie which i embedded into the html. when i view the live webpage all i get is a quicktime logo and question mark??
    Edit:
    still not able to get it to work are there any restrictions on Video usage on x10.

    It's a plugin issue. Do you have the quicktime plugin?

    You would be better off getting:
    1) An MP4 to FLV converter
    2) A Flash Video Player

    And add them to your site instead of a direct link to a ~20MB file. If you need any help setting up flowplayer, they have a good documentation website/wiki which has all the answers.

    Thanks xmkina,
    not sure if i have quick time plug i guess so as im able to use quicktime to view file.... it turned out that i had'nt linked to the file correctly I changed the code and it worked. Ideally I dont want to link to a 20mb file so im looking into your suggestions.
