    Redirect.

I am planning to relaunch my website but with a new domain name altogether.
I want all possible things to be redirected from my old website to my new website.
This includes crawlers since i dont want to loose all the PR I have gained.

I searched google a bit and it reccomended 301 internal redirect but there where a few forums which said it confuses crawlers, im not sure how valid that it.

Just asking you guys about your opinions on this and if you think 301 redirect can do the job for me.

    Re: Redirect.

HTTP 301 Permanently Moved would be the right thing to use, it shouldn't confuse any well-written bot. Take a look at this page: http://www.google.com/support/webmas...n&answer=93633
Real programmers don't document their code - if it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.
