Uploading files

Is it possible to upload files with x10hosting like this ...?

Specifically, I don't understand how you can upload a file without knowing the username/password for my x10hosting account. Is this information not necessary to upload a file to it? What updates are needed for the code in the w3schools example to make this work? Right now I'm simply copying the exact code from the example.

I am very new to this stuff and would appreciate any help.
