    Creating/Activating a Website

    hello, can someone please tell me how to make a site live on cpanel.

    i'm seeking to use fantastico to create my own website and need to know the following

    1. how do i assign it to my domain that i'm going to add on the 'addon domain' tool?
    2. how do i then make the site live?

    Create the addon domain. It will assign a directory (by default the same name as the domain) in public_html (example public_html/newdomain.com) but you can change it to anything you want. Then, when you install the script using fantastico, use that folder as the install directory.

    thanks guys. i've seen the vid for adding an adon domain and it's clear to me now.

    however, it states i need to point the domain name to the 10hosting dns server. i purchased my domain escocolumbo.org with webeden and on their site there isn't a setting to change the dns server.

    i've emailed webeden for how to do this but they're being a bit slow in responding. i was wondering if someone here could help quicker. how do i point the domain name to the 10hosting dns server?
