How Do I Create a Website with my Domain name?

i'm having problems getting started and was wondering if anyone could help

i switched my domain name to 10hosting dns server a few hours ago and want to know how i then create a site for it.

my domain name is www.escocolumbo.org

ideally i want to use wordpress script but at the moment i can only install wordpress as a subfolder http://escocolumbo.org/wordpress

so i guessed i needed to build a site for the homepage. how do i do this, or do i not need to do so?

ultimately, i want to create a site as such http://www.losestomachfat.net

what's the best way to do this? all i have at the moment is my purchased domain name

You don't have to install Wordpress in http://escocolumbo.org/wordpress You can install wordpress on your domain as http://escocolumbo.org/ or anywhere you want.

Just do a NEW installation, in the field that says "Install in directory" just leave it blank. The instructions are right below it... You can either delete the old one or just leave it, doesn't affect anything excepted your space.

cheers, i've just deleted everything i've done so far and i'm taking a break from everything. i'm gonna get something to eat and relax, and i'll get back to this in 2 or 3 hours

i've been on here for hours now trying to figure things out. even though i've been getting closer to what i want, i think things will move a lot faster by taking my mind off it for some time
