Plain Template Help

hi, i'm in search of a plain template that will allow me to have a horizontal menu and a sidebar for me to embed html and links

i'm after something like this

in a nutshell, i want my site to look like a website and not a blogsite
i want a plain sidebar, the permanent removal of the comments feature, and the removal of the wordpress/design logo at the bottom

Since you are very specific about what you want, you should think of hiring a freelancer that could design your template for you.

what your after is not very difficult to program in html/css

I've started with a freecsstemplate (on my main site, first link in my sig) that I've extremely customized (I believe that most of what it left is pretty much an image or too and some general css markup. However, I am updating my website so I've asked a friend to create a new template inspired by the one currently in place. Since he's my friend, he did it for free.

For my first child website, second link, I've started by a OSWD template where I removed images, changed the width of elements and changed some css.
And finally, for my second child website, third link, It's a original OSWD template that I didn't modify yet.
