I know the processor is a bit slow but the extra RAM and Gcard helps speed things up considerably. Not much left to improve now so I'm off getting a beast of a laptop at the end of the year or so, depends on how much the missus will let me have - :blushing:

Hey chaganal1, how about some Motherboard and Processor specs.
I hope you put that gig of memory and 200 GB HD in a tower running more than a PIII.

One of my friends nicknamed his computer "The Beast." He thought it was a cool name until he found out someone hacked his computer because they didn't like seeing "The Beast" in Network Neighborhood. Some people hack for the oddest reasons....

Windows xp Pro & Codename Longhorn (dual boot)
    AmD Sempron 1.7 gig
    k7s41gx motherboard
    770 mb ddr ram
    120 gig WD harddrive
128 mb gforce fx nVidia video
    Sony dvd rom drive
    Sony dvd burner
    17" monitor
    5.1 Surround sound speakers
    and a Microsoft wireless mouse

Awesome system, but I need to upgrade the memory to over a gig and the video card. This systme does all I want and more and have not had one single problem with it.
