Unhappy How to use / set up a counter / webcounter

    Hello

In the past it was possible to use CGI counters with the free webhosting accounts of x10hosting. After the last account movements the CGI setup in cPanel is not avialable anymore.

Therefore my question is how can I set up a "pagecounter". Any help/ideas is welcome.

    Best regards

    Thomas

You could Google "PHP counter scripts". You could try Perl scripts too.

Sorry, I don't know of any off hand. If the PHP script requires GD, it is enabled on free accounts.
    Nothing is always absolutely so.

If you want an easily spammable, manually setable page counter, i suggest you look no further than http://www.website-hit-counters.com/

But a PHP or Perl web counter would be just as nice, if not better.
