Good Idea... Read plz!

Well, thanks to Nedren, I just got a REALLY good idea for a website. Basically, it is like myspace. I even hope to have it rival Myspace, but, the hard part is, now I need to get the domain. If anyone wants to help me there, let me know.


Basically, it will be called something like Efriends, or e-friends, or etc. The site will be like myspace, you can have friends, im them, add them, message them. You can blog, you can do lots of stuff. I will try my hardest not to have advertsing like Myspace, but I don't know how easy this would be....


Ok, anyone got ideas?

Woa, who is going to script that type of beast? Or perhaps do you have it done already?

It'll be quite hard to get it up to a point to compete with myspace unless you have something over myspace that will attract people because most people already have a myspace and probably will stay there since they have everything set up already and all their friends are there.

I will still cheer for you on this one though, and might even want to help to get some experience

Haaaa, yea, but, Nuke has a bloging thing.

You would need a spitload of webspace + bandwidth also thinking about it.

You would most likely need to put money, and a lot of concentration into this.

And not to flame or diss you in any way but as of projects, making games, making blog engines (myspace, xaga) for most people, they don't succeed. They just throw it in the middle of the process. So if you are seriously considering making something ammounting up to myspace and all, you better be ready to using a lot of time/money and not give up.
