Program to make effects

Im currently tring to make pictures that look life like and move and have like snow blowing and stuff? Is that flash? What program shood i use for the best quality? Also is it possible to get it free?

do you mean animated .gif's?
if you dont have any progs like photoshop or imageready you can go the old fashioned way..

open your images in mspaint
save an individual image frame by frame
and try to find 'microsoft GIF animator'
its a really crappy free program, but it works; thats if you can find it

No i mean i think its flash as in im making animation for movies. And i need to make like a land with like snow blowing and stuff and like have the pic moving as if it were real.

oh yeah you'll need flash to do that then.. but i think you can still embed gif's into a flash movie..

either way, i dont know of any free flash software, so you'll probably have to dl trials for now.. and even then i think most trials will have watermarks on them
