Anyone else using Joomla, and have the Google Search Component Plugin Installed?

    HI.

This isn't a problem with the server type of question. I am trying to get a Google Search plugin to work with Joomla. The documentation for the extension says to just install it as I have, then add your Google Adsense ID code (which I've done), and that is about it. The extension should be showing up, but just doesn't show.

I have disabled the built in search just to make sure that could be causing problems, but nope, the google search just doesn't work.

Any and all tips would be appreciated.

    Cheers...

Why do you want to install plug-in you can do the same with adding couple code on your page and just simply editing your css. I have added many things in my phpbb board without plugin or mod. you can get the code form here http://www.google.com/cse/manage/create

Hi, and thanks for the reply.

Well, I just stumbled across Joomla about 2 weeks ago, and I'm very new to all of this.

Thanks for the link. I'll take a peek, and thanks for the help I appreciate it.

Cheers, and take care, and again thanks you for the help, I need as much as I can get.
