Thread: Bamboo Invoice

This is my first time in the forums.

I'm trying to install Bamboo Invoice with my free hosting account. I followed the steps in the install guide but when I go to the URL in my configuration I come access a 500 error.

I saw that some people have install this app flawlessly, any help?

Yup, found problem.

Your permissions are currently set incorrectly on all files in the folder you installed bambooinvoice to (for privacy/security I won't say the folder name here but I did confirm it on the server itself).

Files should be 644, folders 755 - right now they're 777 which is a security loophole and could allow arbitrary code injection. While good software will block said injections anyways, putting it to 755 will remove the 500 error and make said injections a lot harder to execute
