My site dosn't show up right...

I have edited my site last night and it showed up fine. But now I go to check it and then all my changes aren't showing up! But when I go to check the code in the cpanel edit thing (not the html editor link in cpanel just the editor) all my changes to the code are there! Can anyone tell me what is happening?

But did you save the changes when you let your editor?
that would of been the reson for this.

Yea it has stuff on it but thats not mine... and yes, I did save my changes...and I have refreshed it... but idk...its not working still! grrr....

So do you use FTP to update the site or do you go through a program or what?

no i just use the editor on cpanel. not the html one the like text one...but now that im at home where i edited it last night, my edits are showin up...its wierd....

htaccess?....maybe....but its working now! ayayay! lol so it was the htaccess? what does it do exactly?
