Need opinions on this layout

I plan on changing the layout of my site but I can't decide on anything really... I've been tweaking this design for quite a while now:

I want it to be a simple layout, but I'm not sure if I quite like what I have made so far, so that's why I need suggestions about what to change/remove/add to this design. There will be a graphical header image eventually, and the JavaScript hide/show comments things are probably going to be removed too. The background image (ie. the three squares in the bottom-right corner) will be diferent eventually as well.

Its very SImple i like it i give it a 8/10

thinks i didnt like where the over on the links on the navagation when you go over link the back gorund turned gray it didnt match besided that i like the rest

Thanks for the feedback . dharmil, I was questioning how much I liked the rollovers in the navbar as well, I likely won't keep it. I am also going to make it far less wide, I switched it from 600 px to 760 to try something out but I forgot to reduce it again...

I LOVE IT! The simplicity is what gives it the 7.5 - 8/10 it deserves. All I can say is..WOW! I love the fact that it has no fancy colours and cluttered pictures. Now if only there were more sites like this. ;)

Excellent design! It's a "no fooling" type of website with no images, etc, making it very simple for a user to navigate their way around. Some websites nowadays are so cluttered and full you can't find your way around it. I like the gray color scheme of it. Nice work! 9/10

Dude, you have done a totally awsome job of making that website.

I am not however so sure on the boxes at the bottom, or the comments bit either, but the rest is superb.

Wow, I didn't expect everyone to like my design this much, thanks everyone!

@ randomize: Those boxes at the bottom are going to be replaced by a pixel-y CG but will be more transparent so it won't be very noticeable. I am probably going to change the javascript on/off boxes to just links that bring you to a different page like the old site.

Hopefully having less images will allow a better user-end experience for my visitors, and it certainly saves myself a lot of work! Thanks again for all the great feedback!

I like the layout its really good, but its way to white. other then that its really good. GJ
