Invision Power Board Setup

Hey Guys,
There is an invision power board installer on Cpanel, but when I try to install from there it doesn't work.

Any Ideas why?

Or is there another way to install IPB?

P.S, If this is in the wrong section, could admin move it to the relevant section.

please give me some details on the probelm, cpanel's fansastico should work fine
And yes there is another way to install, it is done my uploading phpbb folder to public_html
then run the install script under something.x10hosting.com/phpbb/install/install.php

Basically when i log into Cpanel, and I click on Script Library.

There is a link under there to install Invision Power Boards.

I click that link, fill out the detals.

Press install and then it just takes me to a blank page, and it says done at the bottom.

I wanted Invision Power Board because I think its better than phpBB. I was just wondering if you guys can help me.

You shouldn't use that anyway. Unless cPanel offers a version they patched themselves, v1.2 is full of security holes (it's from 2003).

This is becuse you havnt edited the config.php file
you should enter the settings in and password etc

I presume I can get a patch for it.

This is what I get when I am adding new catagories.

I managed to set up the admin and things.

However this only happens every so often, so it could be the database or security flaws etc

yo, i can install a working IPB within 6mins... if you pm me ur details i will gladly do this for you.

you dont have a config.php file for ipb you put the details in when you run the install script..
