Got a great script for date in javascript and wanted to integrate it with PHP but got stuck a bit.

The script allows us to change the date and when we click on "show date" We get a pop up screen that gives us the date in that pop up. How do I get the button to send the date into a MySQL database so that i can query by date later on?
