    They come eventually, the only reason you see them here on the users online list is because either there is a mod installed that allows it or it is an option in the admin panel to turn on spider recognition. I have a modification installed on my forums so that members can see spiders crawling. They might already be crawling your site.

    You can edit what is shown on "Who's Online" in the vBulletin admin settings. (And show the user-agents of spiders/crawlers)
