New Name Required! Help!

I am posting on behalf of my mate, who is currently away.

Recently, while surfing his forums, I have come across a post. This is from a guy who is the CEO of Randomize Productions, which is what we are currently called!

So, here is what I need you to do:

I need you to come up with names, and we shall put them into a list.

When he comes back, the best name, that we choose, (provided it has not been taken by someone else!) will win.

We will donate to you 100 points for your help.

First off, the guy can't spell and their website is a dud. They are likely not liable to sue. Check copyright records to see if the name is copyrighted, if not, do it yourself and then serve them with a Cease and desist letter. Well thats what an important organization would do. My guess is that you're a newbie and really dont offer anything worth the need to copyright you name... but ya, really, if they havn't copyrighted the name, you have nothing to worry about, that person looks to have absolutely no idea of the law.

No way is this guy authentic. If he had legal problems, he would send you a full and detailed letter/email to yourself - not just post it in your forum and yeah, he can't spell. You've got nothing to fret over here.

The guy obviously has had little gramar and spelling education and if he were actually going to sue, he wouldn't be posting it in your forums. His post and website both don't seem very legit. Check the legal records, copyright records, etc, and see if has actually been copyright. Don't lose sleep over it, I am 90% sure it's a hoax.

its probably one of your friends or some one you know pulling a prank on you for fun. Check out the records ect like everyone said.

However, we have talked about this, and discussed, this in detail, and we have still decided to change our name, to something new.

It does state however in the post that he was first register Randomize Pro, before we changed our sub-domain.

So, we are still asking for people to come up with new names for our company!

we do have some ideas, but we are asking for ideas, which we might choose, and also if there are a couple we like, we might fuse them together!

OK. Firstly randomize, Just becuase i'm on vacation doesn't mean i can't get on the internet every once in a while.

secondly, i think i said in the post on our forums that i doubt he could sue us.

and thirdly, the name 'randomize productions' just sucks i don't know why i ever agreed to it to begin with ;)

I think we're going to be able to come up with a decent name anyway without help. We have a few good ones.
