is that a new installation? if it is new installation ( i mean if you don't have any content right now in your wordpress) then uninstall it and install it again in your root directory. if your using softaculous or fantistico then leave the box blank and install.

Yes It's brand new. Also quick question, I see that the installations was saved in my co.cc domain directory, If I were to purchase a .com domain how would I go about moving the blog to the .com domain directory

Could you also create an index page (default page in your root directory) to redirect to www.mysight.com/wp this way if you decide to install other apps they are still neatly nestled in their own folder.
You can search for html redirects from google.

All you would have to do is park your new domain to your account via your cPanel, and you'll be able to access the site through your old or new domains the same way.
