Homework Helpers - A Good Idea?

I have an idea for a website that may be a good one if approached in the right fashion.

My idea: Homework Helpers, a place where students can talk to other students, post solutions etc. Not only a forum but a whole site dedicated to teaching different concepts and helping people out.

Thoughts?

I think it's a good idea that hasn't worked in the past. It will work very well if the site has the right feel and the right stuff, like an faq section. But, it'd be difficult to get the same stuff as sparknotes, and countless other sites.

I say go for it. Make sure the template is perfect though ;)

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Everything would need to be perfect. I would need people to put content on etc. Maybe a yearlong project haha.

The only thing wrong with something like this is if a student were to need homework help, they likely would need a reply within hours (tops), so you would have to have a VERY active forum (likely more active than this one).

i had tried to do this on my site...where i would give help till i got people on there....but the my forum got screwed up and so im gonna try it again...if u guys wanna do it ill put it on my site....then we can try to merge it onto here...idc...
