    Unhappy FTP question or problem....

    i would like to ask anyone in this forum on how to set the ftp account to specific folder.

    i already try it many time but still fail on doing it..

    everytime it will say on my ftp " fail to authorized" since the password is wrong..
    but the password that i enter was thr correct one...
    so, is anyone in this forum can solve my problem???:nuts: :eek4: :dunno:

    First of all, are you using a internet/web-based ftp or an ftp program? and which one?

    for an ftp program, once you login you can set a specific folder or path to go to - and go there everytime you login.

    the ftp account username will be whateveryouchose@yourdomain.com not just whateveryouchose!

    also you cant do a link like http://example@example.com:123456789@example.com/ because it wont go threw right, just a tip.

    It doesnt work since a new ie6 patch and Firefox patch. It works on older versions of IE and Firefox.

    SmartFTP is free for personal and non-commercial use. It is a free download. I highly recommend it.

    i need a help about ftp client , i can't connect to my site via ftp client i use 2 diferent software , leap ftp and flash xp
