domain name problem...

heya. i have just bought www.distrasdesigns.com and everything seems to be working fine-ish...

when you goto www.distrasdesigns.com it takes you to the site i created, but the address in the bar changes to http://distras.x10hosting.com/distra...com/index.html

how can i change this so it will appear as www.distrasdesigns.com/aboutme.html or something.

Did you park it or do it as an Addon?

Also, you need an index page on your root address. AM's can't see the directory

addon i think... im guessing i need to create it as a parked domain and move all my site files?

You can do it as an Addon, but you have to put it to the directory distrasdesignscom/ instead of public_html/

hmmm me thinks ive done it, i just wanted to make sure before i did it...

deleted the addon domain
made a parked domain
copying all the files to my publichtml file

SHOULD work (i hope)

It still redirects me. But, if I go to http://distras.x10hosting.com/ it is fine, but the domain still redirects to http://distras.x10hosting.com/distra...com/index.html

Maybe the DNS needs to adjust first

Do you want it as your main domain to fix the problem.
